Spirit of Sage is committed to providing our services in the most sustainable way we can and are constantly looking for better ways to do so. All our syrups and mixers are made in house and sourced locally to the best of our ability when needed. We grow our own organic herbs and will substitute with seasonal ingredients from farmers when possible. We try to partner with local institutions who also use sustainable and eco-friendly practices.
We believe in inclusivity and diversity; our services are open to all. We are working on ourselves to be better allies and promise to stand up for equality. As AAPI business owners with a young teen who is part of the LGBTQ+ and ASD community, we want to make sure that we are doing our part to support a just world for all.
How We Are Raising the Bar
We understand that even though we are in the business of booze, it does not mean it is always a good time. Alcohol abuse and addiction is a prevalent issue and is the 7th leading cause of death worldwide. As bar owners we acknowledge the destruction alcohol can cause and know we have a social responsibility to uphold by being strict in complying to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) laws.
We plan to stay involved with addiction and recovery agencies as a responsibility of an industry that can have negative effects on certain populations. We will be partnering with programs that uplift the community and bring awareness to mental wellness.
